WISTEC indoor amplifier
is designed specially for use with 2.4 GHz Direct Sequence and Frequency
Hopping Spread Spectrum radio products. It's the highest performance
wireless LAN amplifier available today.
This bi-directional
wall mounted amplifier greatly increases transmit range because
of the high output level and increases receive range by extremely
low own noise level (2.4db) and very high sensitivity.
AGC (automatic gain control) circuit automatically adjusts the amplifier's
gain to provide a constant output power in transmit modes regardless
of what kind of Access point type is used. The depth of the regulation
of AGC of WISTEC amplifier is so effective that allows to keep the
signal level deviation within +/- 0.5d
Features:
- Allows to increase operating range of wireless Access Point inside
the buildings with ferro-concrete structures and elevator shafts
and therefore to use a less number of Access Points for deploying
the office wireless LAN (see the picture);
- Allows to simplify and reduce the cost of the cable laying by
using UTP instead of more expensive and difficult in laying coaxial
cable when the amplifier mounts outdoor in the thermo-box together
with radiounit near the antenna (see the picture);
- Automatic transmit gain control;
